A weird travel

The next photo takes place in La Serena. In January of this year, I went on vacation for a few days with my friends, for some reason my friend Matías and I stayed longer than planned. we agreed that our families would come to vacation in the same region. The day our friends returned to the capital, I took the opportunity to accompany them to ask about the prices of tickets to the terminal. Back with Matías where we were staying, a police motorbike gets on the sidewalk in order to inspect and see if we have the corresponding “salvoconductos”, to our bad luck the day before the commune of La Serena had regressed from phase 3 to phase 2 that we had completely forgotten. Faced with this and without any chance of escaping, the policeman calls a “retén” car where 8 police officers get off and proceed to arrest us as authentic criminals of the highest danger, with handcuffs they gave us a tour of the commune, we passed from the verification of injuries to a cell, once in the cell we found a dangerous couple arrested for buying bread, a group of young people arrested for smoking in front of their house, etc. After spending a couple of hours there, we went out laughing and nervously to take a picture next to the plaque of the first police station in La Serena.

It has certainly been one of the weirdest experiences of my life, but I take it with humor.

the inevitable noodles

The truth is that for me like many people it is difficult to choose a specific food, in my life I have never been "exquisite" to eat. If they forced me to choose something it would probably be the noodles with sauce, it is something very simple and cheap, that's why my admiration. With very little you do a lot, it is also one of the few meals that I can make and they do not look bad. Everyone knows it, but they also describe it: It's pasta (different shapes and sizes) with some sauce, mainly one of the ones I like the most is the classic tomato with some type of meat. Another that also deserves a mention is the cream with mushrooms, ideally, the grated cheese on top should not be missing.

 Probably this preparation is not very healthy due to its ingredients, although it depends on the portion that is served, as long as it is not excessive I think everything is fine.

 Hello everyone,

 For me one of the most important and beautiful objects is the camera. Today it has become a very common object, almost all of us have one on our cellphone. Basically, its function focuses on capturing a specific moment in an image. You can capture anything: People, animals, buildings, nature, etc.

 

But it is difficult for me to imagine all the time humanity advanced without this wonderful invention. All the incredible historical events that could be represented in images. The photograph represents realities, happy or sad. It is not the same that they tell you a nice smile to see it in person. It is not the same that they tell you about the war in the Gaza Strip to see it for yourself through images. That's the magic, the perspective changes a lot. "Seeing is believing",

 

I find it amazing to "stop" time for a second and save that moment forever. Especially, now in a pandemic is where I recognized them most relevance. Seeing photos of family celebrations, vacations with friends, or people who are gone, create moments where those past memories return to the present, even for a moment. I've always wanted to learn how to take and edit photos as a hobby, but I've never really done it. Now every time I see my distant friends or family, I try to take at least one photo of myself, in order to at least remember that that moment existed. I recommend the same to all of you.
